From country to classics, 2WCR-FM plays a wide variety of music across multiple genres. Now in our 25th year, we pride ourselves on playing a mix of music that you won't hear on other commercial radio stations in our region. Our organisation is one of volunteers, all dedicated people who, wear many hats, to enable this radio station to provide the entertainment that enjoys wide support within our community. We broadcast to the Warrumbungles, Siding Spring, the Pilliga Forest and all of the towns and hamlets in between, which include; Baradine, Purlewaugh, Binnaway, Ulamambri, Bugaldie, Mendooran, Tooraweenah, Coolah, Warkton, Dunedoo, Goorianawa, Mullaley, Rocky Glen and Warrumbungle. We broadcast 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with both local programming and using the resources of the Community Radio Network. Our main broadcasting tower is situated on Bingee Grumble Mountain, west of the airport and 10 kilometeres out of town and our studio is situated in the middle of Coonabarabran at the showground.
