WLPR 89.1 FM is the public radio voice of Northwest Indiana, delivering NPR news, in-depth talk programming, and content from APM, PRX, and the BBC to the Lake Michigan lakeshore region and greater Chicagoland. Operated by Northwest Indiana Public Broadcasting, Inc., the listener-supported station reaches more than 500,000 people and has served the community under the Lakeshore Public Radio banner since 2009.
