WVKR 91.3 Mid-Hudson Valley

WVKR 91.3 FM is the student-run independent radio station of Vassar College, broadcasting to the Mid-Hudson Valley since the early 1970s. Operating under the motto "Independent Radio," the station champions music and voices rarely found on mainstream outlets — blending blues, jazz, hip-hop, indie rock, classical, world music, and activist talk programming. Open to both Vassar students and community DJs, WVKR reaches five states on 3,700 watts and extends its eclectic signal globally via webstream.
